Come on in to Eagle Mountain General Store located at the Eagle Mountain entrance to the Coosawattee River Resort in Ellijay, Georgia. We are only about an hour north of Atlanta, GA and an hour south of Chattanooga, Tennessee. We are so much more than a general store. We have a variety of entertainment and outdoor activities planned throughout the year. Imagine stepping back in time when life was simpler and you could go to the general store to grab a cup of coffee or sandwich from the deli lunch counter and sit down to chat with your friends. We have brought the past back to life at Eagle Mountain General Store! You can come in for breakfast and try some of our famous biscuits with sawmill gravy. Stop in at lunchtime for a sandwich or one of the many tasty selections from our deli menu. Folks come from miles around to enjoy our panini sandwiches. We have picnic tables available to sit down, relax, and visit with old friends or make new ones.
From May 1 through October 1 we will have tubing rides down the Coosawattee River. You can have a great time on a 2-1/2 hour float down the Coosawattee River, enjoying the beautiful mountains of Ellijay in North Georgia. It is a good alternative to river rafting. Upon returning from a fun time on the river, come into the restaurant for a cold drink or a snack and browse all of the merchandise we have available for purchase.
