5/1 - Special Events at The General Store

We are kicking off our 2012 Pickin' On The Porch" season this Saturday, May 12th with entertainment by Bill Pound from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. "Pickin' on The Porch" will continue each 2nd and 4th Saturday night through October. The General Store is always the talk of the community and the place to be for entertainment on event nights with great food, good company, and a variety of music from country to blue grass to Ole Time Rock and Roll. The store and deli will be available for your convenience of grocery items, crafts, great food, etc.

Don't forget to come by the store and see the recent changes that have been made to include more grocery items and everyday household needs. We feel this to be an asset to the resort and the community and hope you find it to be a quick, convenient, and enjoyable stop for your essential item needs.

Coosawattee River Tubing Company wants to thank everyone for a great 2011 season, and are now ready to kick off the 2012 season and will be running 7 days a week beginning 5/18/12. We, at The General Store, will be here to provide you with lots of fun and great entertainment for the 2012 season. so, whether you are here for a trip down the river, or simply stopping by for a great lunch, to shop a bit, or just to say hello and spend some time with our country kitty cat, Ms. Ellie J., you are always welcome here. Hang out long enough and you just might find yourself surrounded by friends both old and new. Sounds like "the good life", huh? Well, it is, and that's what Coosawattee River Resort and being in the mountains is all about, right?
